Pedotoon 2021 is an all-island cartoon and essay competition organized by the Faculty of Agriculture, the University of Peradeniya in celebration of world soil day on 5th December. The competition will feature a short essay contest and a cartoon contest and aims to bring soil's importance to the general public's attention. School students and university students are evaluated separately. In each category, the best entries will be chosen by a judging panel and the most popular entries will be chosen based on the number of Facebook likes they receive in the society Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/sssfoa/). Certificates will be awarded to the winners. Students can send cartons and essays under following themes.
